Strangers at the Carnival

I'm back in the ol' Port Townsend, Washington. It's Rhody weekend here, which means the carnival is in town and parades and assorted races and contests will be happening through the weekend. I spent a couple of hours at Denise's store, Expressions, and helped her price some socks and went to get her some pizza and let her take a break. Since she works the store solo, she usually doesn't get to take a break during the day, or even get to leave the store for lunch. She could I guess close the store for a second, but I think she is too much of a workaholic to want to do that. Anyway, in exhange I got to take home a dress for my brother's wedding and some black dress socks that I will need for my internship. The dress is a light shade of green with big ivory polkadots and a high ivory waist band. It's about knee length, maybe a little shorter, and made with like a silky satin material. It's real cute.

Anyway, after I left the store, I decided to stop by the carnival. Not to go on any rides or anything, just to see if anyone I knew was there. I took about ten steps into the fairgrounds and recognized one girl, but decided to avoid eye contact. It was a girl named Tracy Orsborn. She was one or two years lower than me in high school. I think she dropped out. She was pushing a baby/toddler in a stroller, so i guess that would explain why. Anyway she was always a snob to me for no reason, so I didn't see any reason to even look at her, since all would come of it would be an awkward smile, if that.
The next person I saw that I recognized was the younger brother of a guy who was and is still dating one of my friends from high school. He is a nice kid, but still, I didn't know him at all so I decided to do the same avoiding eye contact maneuver.
At that point I decided I might just turn around and leave, but I stuck it out and moved to the center of a clearing and watched some rides go through their cycles. One looked pretty fun. But still I wasn't up for it. Plus, going on rides is not much fun without a friend.
Watching the rides for a few minutes was enough for me, so I left and now I'm back at home. My plans tonight include watching the season finales of Ugly Betty, The Office, and Scrubs.
Tommorow Gavi's band will play a show in Sequim. I am going to bring as many people as I can. My dad might even go, which would be cool, because he hasn't met Gavi yet. He doesn't really like crowds though, so he might opt out of it. I hope he doesn't though.

Weird Dreams vol.1

I had a dream last night that I was 8 or 9 months pregnant, but I didn't have a big belly. It was actually pretty normal looking. But for some reason I was positive that I was about to pop one out. So, I was calling doctors frantically and trying to get someone to deliver my baby, but they kept telling me that I wasn't pregnant.
How weird is that? Any interpretations?

So, I moved into my brother Cameron's house last night. The room was at first too small to move around in, but we rearranged it so that I had a place to add a dresser.
When I was first talking to my brother about moving, I was telling him that I am going to put most of my stuff in storage and just bring my clothes, accessories, and toiletries. He thought I was weird. I guess he didn't realize how many clothes and accessories and toiletries one girl can accumulate. All of those things filled my trunk, back seat, and front passenger seat to the brim. He took one look at it and said, "Girls and their clothes..."
